Summer of Common Sense

It’s that time of year, summer.

Ahh, the warm weather, the sun, the beach, and now the common sense.

America is heading down a path of socialism and the people are craving common sense. Washington isn’t bringing it to you, so I will. With the help of all of you, and the listeners of The Current, we’re going to make this the Summer of Common Sense.

Our headlining feature on the Summer of Common Sense is a live show from the Independence Day Tea Party in Lansing, MI on July 4 starting at noon. We’ll have a hour long pre-event show, then we’ll carry the event live, and then do a 30 minute post-event show. It’ll be tons of fun and the message the people will send to Washington will no doubt be powerful. Obama can’t ignore us for much longer (but he probably will).

That’s not all though, we have other great events and features lined up as well. Head on over to the Summer of Common Sense headquarters for a full schedule of events and features.

I’d like this event to be as interactive as possible. We’ll have a chat open during all of our live shows, we’ll be taking Skype calls, and we’ll be giving away some prizes as well. And don’t forget you can continue to share your opinion in the comments section on this site.
