The Bodcast #11: Obama kinda sorta embellishes
I posted earlier about how Obama exaggerated his stance against the tax breaks in the 2005 energy bill. Considering he didn’t mention them in his press release and didn’t bring up an amendment to the bill, it appears his stance on the tax breaks were soft at best. But in The Bodcast tonight I hit on another point. Obama couldn’t oppose the bill because it would have been political suicide. See Illinois got “goodies” from this bill, if Obama voted against it, people would have been ticked. I guess that’s “change” we can believe in.
I also talk about Pelosi’s hypocrisy in the energy debate and Al Gore buying a houseboat, but don’t worry it’s “eco-friendly”
