Fred Thompson Will Run
So The Politico is reporting that advisers close to former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson say he will run for the 2008 Presidential nomination. Here’s the story
He’s already started to raise money and that’s the only reason he can enter this late. Funny how I’m saying this late and it’s June of 2007. But the fact of the matter is Thompson will be able to generating money, and fast. That’s the only way to survive in this race.
Al Gore on the other hand…if he wants to run he better get a move on, especially with the announcement of another top notch, popular, well respected conservative. Too bad Gore isn’t any of those things.
