It’s wrong when you do it UPDATE: New Palin smear

Barack Obama has hit a new low.

One the heels of his convention bounce being erased by McCain-Palin, Obama has pulled out the hypocritical arguments.

“I know the governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is change,” Obama said at a town hall meeting here. “And that is great. She is a skillful politician. But when you [have] been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person.

“That is not change, come on,” Obama continued. “I mean, words mean something. You can’t just make stuff up. You can’t just make stuff up. We have a choice to make and the choice is clear.”

Obama’s argument is essentially that she flip-flopped. However, I’d rather her flip-flop on that issue then continue to waste tax payer money.

Obama hasn’t taken that route. He’s got over $700 million of pork barrel spending under his belt, and over $89 million in 2008 alone.

So which is worse, flip-flopping on pork barrel spending (when she was a mayor) or wasting over $700 million of tax payer money.

I’ll take the flip-flop.
