Emanuel Accepts White House Spot
Not really a surprise, there’s been talk that he accepted the position all morning, but now it is official.
If you don’t already know, Rahm Emanuel is currently a representative from Illinois, part of his district covers the Chicago area, and he was also a staffer in the Clinton White House. Obama has selected him as his chief of staff.
We’re going to delve into Emanuel’s background Saturday on The Current; however, from what I’ve read he appears to be a vicious partisan and one of the most liberal guys in the senate. To be perfectly honest it appears Obama has selected a Chicago crony for the spot, rather than a guy who will work with the other side of aisle.
Again, we’ll talk more about Emanuel and some of the other Obama staff picks on Saturday.

Emanuel is sorta creepy.
I often think of Star Wars when I see Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. They’re both totally capable of commanding the dark side and force-lightning-ing their enemies.
Rahm here can do that stuff too. Intense.
