Remembering 9/11

It’s the anniversary of September 11, and you’d think that people would put politics aside…you’d be wrong.

The following is a excerpt from an AP story.

And firefighters will share the stage with former mayor Rudy Giuliani, who many victims’ families and firefighters said should not speak here this year because he is running for president as a Republican.”

Because is running for president…as a Republican.

This is how we talk on the six year anniversary of 9/11, condemning someone and telling them not to speak because he’s a republican. And maybe that’s not how it’s suppose to read, but to mean it sounds like he shouldn’t speak not only because he’s running for president, but also because he’s a republican.

Meanwhile Bin Laden released a new tape this morning profiling one of the hijackers. It bothers me that we’re playing partisan politics over here, while Al Qaeda is planing to kill us over there. And even worse, the democrats want us to just stop fighting the people who did this to us.

In any event simply remember the victims today, and a thing I always like to do on Sept. 11, debunk 9/11 myths.
