Debates
I was watching the Democratic Presidential Debate tonight on CNN. It was what you would expect from the democrats, critical of the Bush Administration, negative, unplanned, and massive waste of anyone’s time. However I managed to survive. I have to note the shabby job CNN did of covering the event. There was no lights to alert the candidates when time was running out or was out. There was no buzzer telling them time was out, only the mouth of Wolf Blitzer (frightening). There were several audio problems with the questioners microphones, and then of course the unaviodable error of the Democrats on the stage.
I must say the one thing that really disturb me was when Rep. Dennis Kucinich was asked if he would take out Osama Bin Laden if he was in Pakistan, was only going to be there 20 minutes, and the attack might kill innocent civilians. His answer was no, which was the disturbing part.
We learned from Clinton that you take out Osama whenever you can. Clinton tried twice and failed. He tried firing on a training camp that intelligence told him contained the terrorist leader. They were wrong. He also had intelligence that Osama would be in a meeting with a United Arab Emirates Prince, Clinton didn’t want to kill a UAE prince so he told them not to come, when they went to attack their meeting place was on fire.
Luckily the other candidates said they would take Osama under those circumstances. That’s good to hear. We cannot have a president that would be that soft on terror. I fully expected Democrats to be quivering, drooling idiots when it comes to terror but not that quivering and not with that much drool.
If you want my full take on the Democrat Debate you can hear it here. The Republican debate is Tuesday at 7pm on CNN, watch that, and my reaction will be posted after that debate as well.
Have a wonderful tomorrow. (That’s how you spell it Hilary)
