Liberals and their Facial Hair

What is with loser liberals and their sympathy facial hair.

It seems that anytime a democrat losses an election they go incognito and grow facial hair.

For example, Bill Richardson was on television today to announce that he was endorsing Barack Obama. And to my surprise he had grown a mustache and a beard.
Bill Richardson and Al Gore Grow Facial Hair
Rewind seven years. Al Gore losses the 2000 election, he goes on 60 minutes (I think) sporting a fully grown beard and mustache. Apparently hoping that no one would recognize his losing ass.

Come on liberals, own up to your losses, stand proud of your failures, don’t hide behind your facial fuzz.

SHOW NOTES

How’s that for Change

A new revelation might show that Obama has been “kicking back” the governments lose change to his wife’s employer.

Dan Riehl notes, via Amanda Carpenter, that in the list of earmarks he requested, $1 Million was requested for the construction of a new hospital pavilion at the University Of Chicago. The request was put in in 2006.

You know who works for the University of Chicago Hospital?

Michelle Obama. She’s vice president of community affairs.

You can’t tell me it’s simply a coincidence that Obama earmarked $1 million dollars to the employer of his wife. I won’t buy it.

Even better though, Michelle Obama’s salary at the hospital jumped almost $200,000 in a year. The years? 2004, right before Obama took office, and 2005 just after Obama took office. If the University of Chicago Hospital is offering raises of up to $200,000 in a year, where do I send my resume?

So I was Almost Right

So Kristy Lee Cook wasn’t kicked off American Idol, but David Hernandez was, and I ranked him number 11 out of 12.

I do think that now Kristy Lee Cook has more to prove next week than David Archuleta, none-the-less she should have gotten the boot tonight. America really fudged this one up.

So Kristy will grab the 11 spot on the post result show rankings, and everybody else stays the same, yes even Syesha despite her bottom three status this week.

Bottom Three This Week: David Hernandez, Kristy Lee Cook, Syesha Mercado.

A Double Dose

Well I got a little bored today so I did an audio update and a video update. If you’re looking for some quick commentary on today’s events check out the video update. If you’re looking for some more in-depth commentary on current events, check out the audio.

A Perfect Example

This is exactly what I have been complaining about.

Barack Obama will end up with more Texas delegates than Hillary Clinton despite the fact that she won the popular vote in the primary. Why? Because he won the caucuses.

Now, I’m in no way a Hillary Clinton supporter. However, I will say that I’m more afraid of a Barack Obama presidency than another Clinton White House. But even more than that I’m a promoter of democracy and a fair voting system.

The system the democrats use is NOT fair.

For starters caucuses are dumb. They take the individuality out of the voting system and inject peer pressure. In caucuses you can scream and shout and do your best to force the voters for the other candidate onto your side. It’s even better when there are 3+ candidates because if your candidate of choice doesn’t have 15% or more, they have to find a new candidate. Thus chaos ensues.

It’s evident the fairest way to vote is by ballot and closed door. Which is what a primary is. Clinton won that portion of Texas. Obviously MORE Texas voters favored her over Obama. However Texas likes to screw around with the vote, so they have a caucus as well. Two third of the state delegates are tied to the primary while the remaining third represent the caucus. Clinton only managed four more primary delegates than Obama, and Obama killed her in the caucus.

And though Clinton won more delegates than Obama in the primary, 65 to 61, Obama’s wider delegate margin in the caucuses gives him the overall statewide delegate lead, 99 to 94 — or once superdelegate endorsements are factored in, 109 to 106.

So the state votes for Clinton, because the primary is the only fair way, and yet Obama will get more Texas delegates. Does that sound like democracy? Does that sound fair?

Once again, I don’t like Clinton, I like a fair process, I like to see the people’s vote get more delegates. The system the democrats use is anti-democratic. Plain and simple.

What we need, and I’ve suggested this before, is a system based off the general election for selecting the nominee. Every state holds a PRIMARY, not a caucus. Every state votes on the same day. And the day after every party knows their nominee.

Easy.

And that’s how the voting system should be. Easy and fair.

My War on the Danes

That’s right, I’ve waged a pseudo war on the Danes, because quite frankly their pissing me off.

In my February 18 video update I did a story about how the Danish people are the happiest people on earth and how the Americas are far less chipper. I did the whole story in kind of a mocking tone to personify (in a joking way) the ranking of the Americans. Then at the end of the segment I proclaimed “screw the Danes.” I didn’t actually mean it, I thought it came off as sarcastic.

But maybe I didn’t lay it on thick enough.

Since the joke, I’ve gotten 23 comments on that video, all of which are from really pissed off Danish people that don’t have a sense of humor.

Here are just some of the comments I’ve received.

This just goes to show, how easy it is to be cocky when youre 3000 miles away and yapping into a camera…

come on… why so angry ? lighten up ;)

kind regards

A Dane

Wait, you call me “cocky” and say I’m “yapping into a camera” but then you say “kind regards.” Doesn’t sound genuine or happy to me.

TomFrank (or what ever the f… your name is): You don’t know what you’re talking about, not by far! Unless you’ve lived in (or atleast visited) Denmark, your words are invalid and uncalled for. Oh, by the way: May I suggest that you get a haircut and remove that propaganda-flag in the background (I think your fellow countrymen would sob if they in any way were related to you), next time you upload something potentially being watched by millions of people in the long run. We danes ARE happy. ;o)

Besides calling the American flag a “propaganda-flag” (by the way no hyphen needed) this one’s a little irate. Not too happy are we my Danish nemeses?

We are happy because we aint stupid as you

This one needs no comment.

So that’s that. They lash out at me, in a very undanish way, about how I’m being mean and hurtful. Like your typical socialist would do.

So I release another video, this time I explain it was a joke but mention how the Americans are far more independent than the Danes. Well that made one Dane so angry that he couldn’t even make sense in his comment.

So because a couple does’nt get your little joke you generalise an entire people. Or was that another joke? And yes SOME americans are more ECONOMICLY independent than some danes but a lot are completly screwed because of poverty which is a much bigger problem in the US than in Denmark. maybe not having to worry about things like being able to afford proper healthcare and education makes the danes more independent than a lot of americans who may be more economicli independent but are forced to work all day long just to earn enough money to survive. But that’s just one point of view.

So he admits that American are more economically independent. But then says some American are screwed because of poverty which is bigger in the US. Wouldn’t that prove that Americans are more economically independent. Poverty’s a bad thing, but the majority of people in poverty put themselves in poverty, proving they had the independent choice not to spend all that money or not go and get a job.

Then he says that not worrying about things like health care and education makes the Danes more independent. No. It proves just the opposite. It means you are more DEPENDENT on your government to provide things that Americans have to get on their own.

Then he says that Americans are forced to work all day long just to earn enough money to survive. That’s simply not true. Sure there are people that work three jobs and struggle to get by. But again that proves our independence and that’s also an extremely small portion of Americans. The fact is that the average American works about seven hours a day. So from 9am to 4pm. And lets do a little math. There are 24 hours in a day, take away seven and you’ve got…17 hours. Take away time to sleep (roughly 7 hours) and you’re left with 10 hours of free time. Which would factor out to be the largest chunk of your day.

So again, it would appear that Americans are far more free and independent than the socialistic Danes.

But the pseudo war is not over. If any Dane comes at me I will not hesitate to retaliate. And when I say SCREW THE DANES this time, I mean it.
