Liberal logic is astonishing.
Sometimes I say to myself, their humans, they understand, they have brains. But then I read things like this, brought to you by the always sensible commentators at the DailyKos
And Now California: The disasters of the Bush Era
…Now comes California’s turn. Unfortunately, all these locations happen to be areas where the politics are mostly Democratic. So don’t expect much help. In the past, Bush takes the opportunity to show up, make a speech, make a bunch of promises, then moves on.
Despite the fact that liberals aren’t humans, Bush would certainly not exempt them from relief simply because the state leans to the left (literally and figuratively). Besides the raging flames out west, the real tragedy is the fact that the left is politicizing this like crazy.
For example Harry Reid said, “One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming.” It’s never too tragic to get a little global warming jab in there, is it?
There’s only one flaw in Reid’s logic. It’s wrong.
It turns out that some of the blazes were actually arson. Or for all of you liberals that means global warming did not cause it, it was started by a human. (At this point a liberal would say, well so is global warming. In which case I would say, prove it? And then they would spew out Al Gore propaganda that’s been shoved up their ass.)
Listening to all of the coverage of this tragic disaster I realized something. During a tragedy or disaster liberals tend to talk about what’s NOT being done. Always complaining and whining that more could be given. On the other hand conservatives talk about what IS BEING done. And the heroes who are doing it.
However in a time like this we need to put political parties aside and simply help those that need help. My good friend Larry Jones (I call him my good friend because he sends me emails, although I’m on a mailing list so it kind of takes away from the personal touch, but he’s still my good friend) over at Feed the Children, sent me a link to donate. I urge you all to give a little to those who have lost a lot.
In the meantime I’ll be deciphering liberal logic, and seeing if they’ve caught up with the cavemen yet.
