Comments: A lot of the humor is "Bible Humor" meaning subtle hints to things in the Bible. It's not laugh-out-loud but it keeps you entertained.
Pan's Labyrinth (2006)

Comments: Great balance of action and gore with fantasy and fairytale. Good computer animation with acting that compliments.
The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)

Comments: Starts too slow, at times too dark. However has a good plot line but offers more drama than laughs.
Citizen Kane (1941)

Good Night and Good Luck (2005)

Duplex (2003)

Comments: It's kind of up and down. It has it's funny moments, but there's just something awkward about people killing old people.
Scoop (2006)

Comments: Kind of a dopey comedy. However the murder mystery aspect makes up for the lack of laughs.
Flags of our Fathers (2006)

Comments: A great portrayal of an epic tale however it can be slow in parts, however the ending makes up for that.
The Departed (2006)

Comments: A very entertaining movie, moved quickly and efficently, the only problem I had was the massive amount of langauge.
Everything is Illuminated (2005)

Comments: The first half was a great comedy and the second half was a great drama. Put them together and you've got a great movie.
Crash (2005)

Comments: I almost feel like this star studded cast was wasted but at the same time I like it. The ending was awful though.
Click (2005)

Comments: Don't be fooled, this movie is more of a drama than a comedy. That doesn't mean it's not good, it's still worth it.
Breach (2007)

Comments: Not really an action film, it's more of a long episode of Law and Order. It's a great storyline and it's acted very well.
Liar Liar (1997)

Comments: Maybe I just don't like Jim Carey's comedy but this movie wasn't really funny. It also didn't help that it was predictable.
Night at the Museum (2006)

Comments: A good family film, might not be as funny as advertised but it's entertaining. Watch this one with the family.
The Godfather (1972)

Comments: I think I'm the only person in the world that didn't really like this movie. It moved to slow for my liking.
Hollywoodland (1972)

Comments: Ben Affleck did I much better job than I thought, at the same time it was slow and fast and good and bad. It was so-so.
In the Heat of the Night (1967)

Comments: Not only does it have a meaningful mention for the time period, but it's a great mystery as well.
Legends of the Fall (1994)

Comments: Acting was good, but the storyline was so weird and never ending that it got cumbersome after a while.
Ordinary People (1980)

Comments: A great story that was adapted well for film. The acting was what made the movie complete.

Comments: A story that is more complex than it first appears, not to mention it's creepy as well.
Troy (2004)

Comments: Great fight scenes but other than that it has little substance. Not a very developed polt, not at all acurate.
Rear Window (1954)

Comments: It starts off a little slow, but once it gets going it's a great suspense film, that keeps it simple.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (2003)

Comments: Starts off a little sluggish but once it gets to the battle scenes it grabs your attention. The ending is a little long.
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Comments: It kind of feels like a mock version of Star Wars, however it gets on track mid way through the movie.
Children of Men (2006)

Comments: Although I don't agree with politcal messages, it's a wonderfully done dystopia that has an expected uncomfortable feeling.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)

Comments: A fun an exciting adventure that portrays aliens as nice beings. There were scenes that captivated me to a point where I forgot I was watching a movie.
Minority Report (2002)

Comments: A unique story line that has a perplexing meaning behind it. However on the surface it provides for a great action/suspense film.
Do the Right Thing (1989)

Comments: A balanced movie about race that leaves the viewer with a tough question, but I wouldn't call it a 'must see.'
Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Starring: Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins

Comments: Easily one of the best suspense movies I've ever seen. It captivates you from the get-go and doesn't let up.
